The National Rifle Association (NRA) released its ratings for state legislative candidates today and Judy Ward received top marks.
Ward’s “AQ” rating is the highest grade the NRA gives out to non-incumbent candidates for the Pennsylvania legislature and is based on responses to a comprehensive issues questionnaire. To receive an “AQ” rating, a candidate must express views that are pro-Second Amendment.
“I am a proud NRA member and gun enthusiast who understands the difference between law-abiding sportsmen and criminals who use guns,” said Ward. “I believe that our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms must be protected and I will fight to do just that as State Representative.”
